TOUR IN BRIEF
A one-of-a-kind cycling itinerary, a cycling holiday that combines the sea and the mountains, passing through the plateaus that border the two regions and visiting the most beautiful cities of central Italy.
TOUR DETAILS
DAY 1:
From the sea to the inland hills, passing through cities of art, we'll pedal where history has left important traces and culture is at home.
DAY 2:
The Hills and the Plateaus... you pedal and climb to places where the land is still worked with great satisfaction, reaping the rewards of unique produce. The Colfiorito Plain with its lentils and potatoes.
DAY 3:
The border area between two regions... the descent that takes us to Foligno through thousands of centuries-old olive trees, Foligno, a city of art, a city of culture with a beautiful cycle path that connects Assisi to Spoleto, stopping in Foligno.
DAY 4:
Spoleto and its Castle, Spoleto and its famous Festival of Two Worlds, Spoleto and its unsurpassed cycle path, the “Old Spoleto – Norcia Railway”.
DAY 5:
The climb from Norcia, the town of San Benedetto, leads after a 25 km ascent through a unique landscape to the Alto Piano di Castelluccio di Norcia… the “Little Tibet of Italy”
DAY 6:
The return to the sea passing through one of the most beautiful art cities of Le Marche… Ascoli Piceno and its towers, Ascoli Piceno with its beautiful white square, Ascoli Piceno with its Ascolana olives.
DAY 7:
We're heading back, but we're doing so along the beautiful Adriatic Cycle Route that runs along the seafront from San Benedetto del Tronto to our starting point. The sea will inebriate us with its scent and colors on our final ride.
